An intimate little wine bar nestled in the heart of historic Rochester, Enigma is a trendy venue catering for the young professional crowd. There is a large smoking area to the rear, which doubles up as a sun trap during the summer months and also affords it's customers the opportunity to soak up the rays whilst enjoying a BBQ.
There are two bars (both serving cocktails), a main room and a private room. The strict door policy and higher bar prices keep the riff raff away and make the venue a friendlier place all round.
Regular music events at Enigma include FLH (For the Love of House) and Soulful Strut (Funk, Jazz & Old School), with Enigma's resident DJs playing a mixture of club classics most other weekends.
Certainly the best venue in the area.
Capacity: 250+
Lighting: Low level lighting, with a huge projection screen at one end.
Door Policy: Smart/Casual - No caps, trackies or hoodies. You may get away with SPARKLINGLY CLEAN trainers, but Shoes are preferred.
Directions: From Rochester Station, take a right and walk over the traffic lights into the top of Rochester High Street. About thirty yards on your left hand side is a great big white building - and you're there!!!
